Rabi
Gaston Kaboré I Burkina Faso I 1992 I 62 Min I Fiction

Rabi is a 5-year-old boy who lives in Burkina-Faso. His father is a blacksmith and his mother makes pottery. They try to encourage Rabi to follow in their path, however, Rabi prefers the company of his old neighbour: Pugsa, whom he considers his own grandfather and friend. One day his father brings a turtle home and Rabi’s meeting with this small animal becomes the start of his longing to discover the world.
